ZEETA - Polyester Laser Plates

Zeeta is a new generation plate imaged by standard laser printers or photocopiers. Zeeta provides a low cost system for printers with computer systems to produce plates in-house for single or spot colour work. In addition, Zeeta will print run lengths in excess of 10,000 prints on a standard laser printer - without the need for chemical preparation. The Production cycle is simple; artwork is originated on a computer system and the plate is placed directly on to the press after imaging through the laser printer. There are no chemicals, etch solutions required with Zeeta and the plate can be imaged on any standard laser printer.

Zeeta will reproduce fine lines and halftones up to 133 lpi and behaves on press like a metal plate, using the same ink and fount solutions.

Zeeta is suitable for a wide range of work; spot colour leaflets, letterheads, business cards, invitations, forms, menus, posters, direct mail, newsletters, envelopes, invoices and all other form work.

How it Works.

Step 1.
Imaging on a laser printer: Scan in and/or create the complete page on your desktop software. Proof it if necessary, by taking a laser print out on a paper. Mutually feed Zeeta into the laser printer and take a printout. You now have a press ready plate in hand.
Or
Imaging on a plain copier: Make a photo-Copy of your hard copy original directly onto Zeeta on a plain paper copier as you would take on paper.

Step 2.
#Punch and bake the plate.

Step 3.
#Mount the image plate on the press & commence printing.

Specifications

Base: Dimensionally stable polyester film
Surface: Double sided matte coated.
Thickness: Available in 75 Microns and 100 Microns.
Pack: 100 Plates.
Shelf life: Several years under normal storage conditions.
Zeeta plates can use all the chemicals available in local market.

Note: The run length of Zeeta depends upon the machine / press conditions.
